MENAKAR HUBUNGAN ALAM DAN MANUSIA DALAM LIRIK LAGU KePAL-SPI DAN BURGERKILL MELALUI PEMBACAAN EKOKRITIK

Abstract
Perubahan iklim merupakan krisis global yang berdampak buruk tidak hanya pada lingkungan alam tetapi juga berpengaruh terhadap kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan politik dalam masyarakat. Ketika terjadi pengrusakan alam, kaum miskinlah yang menjadi korban, sementara alam terus-menerus dimanfaatkan oleh pemilik modal multinasional secara berlebihan. Grup musik asal Indonesia KePAL-SPI dan Burgerkill menggarap topik lingkungan hidup dan ketidakadilan sosial dalam sejumlah lirik lagu yang dibahas dalam artikel ini, yakni “Balada Peladang”, “Jaga Kampung”, “Tanah Leluhur”, “Hancur”, dan “Undamaged”. Melalui metode close reading, dilakukan analisis atas kelima lirik lagu tersebut dengan terang Teori Ekokritik. Hasil pembacaan menunjukkan bahwa lirik lagu-lagu terpilih memiliki dua tema pokok. Pertama, seruan untuk merawat alam dan menjaga tradisi leluhur yang ramah lingkungan menjadi pesan utama. Kedua, kemerosotan alam dan degradasi martabat manusia terjadi bersamaan. KePAL-SPI dan Burgerkill menyampaikan protes atas eksploitasi alam yang abai akan kepentingan bersama. Alih-alih menjaga keutuhan semua ciptaan, kehadiran kapitalisme global menyisakan ketidakadilan bagi kelompok miskin, rentan, dan terpinggirkan.
