Focus and Scope

ABDIMAS ALTRUIS: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menerbitkan artikel hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bersifat aplikatif dan inovatif. Fokus utama kami adalah pengaplikasian ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, seni, dan budaya dalam pemberdayaan dan peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.

Jurnal kami menerima artikel dari berbagai macam kegiatan pengabdian yang mencakup, namun tidak terbatas pada:

  • Pendidikan dan pelatihan masyarakat

  • Kesehatan masyarakat

  • Pemberdayaan ekonomi dan kewirausahaan

  • Pengembangan teknologi tepat guna

  • Pelestarian lingkungan dan budaya lokal

  • Penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan masyarakat

  • Peningkatan literasi dan inklusi sosial

  • Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat lain yang relevan

Kami bertujuan menjadi wadah bagi akademisi, praktisi, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya untuk berbagi pengalaman, metode, dan hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang berdampak positif bagi masyarakat luas.

ABDIMAS ALTRUIS: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat publishes applicative and innovative community service activity articles. Our primary focus is the application of science, technology, arts, and culture to empower communities and sustainably improve their quality of life. 

Our journal accepts articles from various types of community service activities, including but not limited to: 

  • Community education and training
  • Public health
  • Economic empowerment and enterpreneurship
  • Appropriate technology development
  • Environmental and local culture preservation
  • Strengthening of community institutions' capacity
  • Improvement of literacy and social inclusion
  • Other relevant community service activities

We aim to serve as a platform for academics, practitioners, and stakeholders to share experiences, methods, and results of community service activities that benefit the wider society.

Peer Review Process

Proses peninjauan (double-blind peer review) diperkirakan memakan waktu dua (2) hingga tiga (3) bulan, tetapi bisa juga memakan waktu lebih lama tergantung pada jumlah naskah yang sedang ditinjau. Berikut ini adalah empat langkah utama dari proses peninjauan.

  1. Naskah yang telah selesai diunggah oleh penulis ke situs web ABDIMAS ALTRUIS: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (ALTRUIS) kemudian dimasukan oleh Editor Bagian ke proses penyuntingan.
  2. Editor akan mengundang para peninjau untuk memberikan penilaian dan pertimbangan yang tepat atas naskah yang diserahkan.
  3. Hasil peninjauan akan dikomunikasikan kepada editor untuk selanjutnya diteruskan kepada penulis.
  4. Jika diperlukan, penulis akan merevisi naskah berdasarkan komentar dan saran para peninjau dan mengirimkan kembali naskah dalam waktu dua hingga enam minggu. Ketika naskah akhirnya diterima untuk diterbitkan, editor akan menjadwalkan penerbitan dan memberi tahu penulis tentang nomor dan volume jurnal tempat artikel tersebut akan diterbitkan.

The review process (double-blind peer review) is expected to take two (2) to three (3) months, but it may take longer depending on the number of papers currently being reviewed. The following are the four main steps of the review process.

  1. The completed manuscript uploaded by the author(s) to the ABDIMAS ALTRUIS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (ALTRUIS) website is then assigned by the Section Editor to see the editorial process.
  2. The editor will invite reviewers to give a proper assessment and judgement of the submitted manuscript.
  3. The result of the review will be communicated to the editor for onward transmission to the author(s).
  4. If required, the author(s) will revise the manuscript in light of the reviewers’ comments and suggestions and resubmit the manuscript within two to six weeks. When the manuscript is finally accepted for publication, the editor will schedule the publication and inform the author(s) of the particular number and volume of the journal in which the article will be published.

Abdimas Altruis: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat diterbitkan dua kali setahun, yakni pada April dan Oktober.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Abdimas Altruis: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat

Abdimas Altruis: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat diterbitkan dua kali setahun, yakni pada April dan Oktober, oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, Universitas Sanata Dharma, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Abdimas Altruis menerbitkan artikel tentang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Redaksi menerima kontribusi artikel dari semua pihak dengan senang hati.  

 

Abdimas Altruis: Journal of Community Service is published twice a year, namely in April and October, by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Abdimas Altruis publishes articles on community service. The editors welcome article contributions from all parties.
