Author Guidelines

Redaksi Jurnal Bandar Maulana menerima kiriman artikel melalui email bandarmaulana@usd.ac.id dengan ketentuan seperti berikut:

  • Artikel tidak mengandung unsur plagiarisme.
  • Artikel belum pernah dipublikasikan.
  • Artikel merupakan hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, serta kajian dan aplikasinya; ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa Inggris.
  • Artikel hasil penelitian berisi: judul, nama penulis, abstrak, pendahuluan, teori, metode penelitian, hasil penelitian/pembahasan, kesimpulan, dan daftar pustaka.
  • Artikel gagasan konseptual berisi judul, nama penulis, abstrak, pendahuluan, pembahasan, kesimpulan, dan daftar pustaka.
  • Artikel dapat berupa resensi buku/film. Syarat resensi adalah, (a) buku/film yang diresensi relatif baru (tidak lebih dari dua tahun setelah dipublikasikan); (b) panjang resensi 3-5 halaman; dan (c) menyertakan fotokopi atau scan cover dari buku/film yang diresensi.
  • Artikel ditulis dalam bentuk esai sekitar 3.000-5.000 kata; spasi 1 dengan sembir (margin) kiri dan atas 4 cm, sedangkan kanan dan bawah 3 cm; Times New Roman 12 dan berformat .doc atau .docx.
  • Naskah artikel memuat:
  1. Judul (maks. 12 kata)
  2. Nama penulis tanpa gelar, diikuti identitas penulis yang dicantumkan di catatan kaki, meliputi institusi, alamat korespondensi, dan alamat email
  3. Abstrak (100-150 kata) dan kata kunci (3-5 kata) dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris; menggunakan spasi 1
  4. Pembahasan disajikan dalam subbab-subbab
  5. Penutup
  6. Daftar pustaka
  7. Penulis wajib melampirkan biodata. Biodata ditulis secara naratif, maks. 100 kata, memuat nama lengkap dan gelar pendidikan, tempat dan tanggal lahir, pekerjaan, nama lembaga tempat bekerja, serta karya ilmiah yang pernah dipublikasikan dalam tiga tahun terakhir.
  • Tabel dan gambar wajib diberi nomor secara berurutan sesuai dengan pemunculannya. Setiap gambar dan tabel perlu diberi penjelasan singkat yang diletakkan di bawahnya. Gambar berupa foto (jika ada), disertakan dalam bentuk gloss (mengkilap).
  • Isi daftar pustaka ditulis secara alfabetis dengan ketentuan seperti berikut:

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
