AI Usage and Authorship Policy |
|
1. Use of AI Tools in Manuscript Preparation Authors may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, or similar language models) to improve the clarity, grammar, or language quality of the manuscript. However, such tools must not be used to generate novel ideas, data, analyses, or interpretations that form the scientific contribution of the work. The responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of all content remains solely with the authors. 2. Declaration of AI Use If AI tools have been used in any part of the manuscript preparation, this must be clearly disclosed in a dedicated statement at the end of the manuscript (e.g., in the Acknowledgment section or a separate “AI Disclosure” section). “Portions of the text were assisted by the use of an AI-based language tool (ChatGPT, OpenAI), which was employed solely for improving grammar and readability. The authors reviewed and are fully responsible for the content of this publication.” 3. Prohibition of AI Authorship AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authorship implies accountability for the originality, accuracy, and ethical integrity of the research, which AI tools cannot assume. Only human contributors who meet the authorship criteria  should be listed as authors. 4. Responsibility and Verification Authors are fully responsible for verifying any text, data, or references generated or modified using AI tools. The use of AI-generated content that results in plagiarism, factual inaccuracies, or ethical violations will be considered a breach of publication ethics and may lead to manuscript rejection or retraction. 5. Ethical and Confidentiality Considerations Authors must ensure that no confidential, sensitive, or unpublished data are entered into public AI systems. The use of AI tools must comply with data privacy laws, institutional regulations, and ethical research standards. |
