Abstract
This study aimed to develop a HOTS-based assessment for History lessons on the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence, intended for 11th grade students, using Wizer.me. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, using ADDIE product development design techniques. Due to time limitations, this study only utilized 3 stages of ADDIE development: Analysis, Design, and Development. The data collection techniques were interviews and questionnaires, and the data analysis involved quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research outcome is a set of HOTS questions presented using the interactive media platform Wizer.me, which was found to be decent. This is supported by the validation results provided by the material experts for the products created by the researcher in terms of accuracy and material skills, which achieved a 98% rate. The assessment expert validated the HOTS questions, with an accuracy and suitability percentage of 80%, and 72% for the product language aspect. The media expert validated the design with a percentage of 90%, 96.6% for the organizational aspect, and 93.3% for consistency. All aspects were declared valid based on the percentages given by each validator.
