SISTEM TAKAR OBAT SERBUK (PUYER)

Abstract

Drugs-powder is still mostly used in Indonesia. Currently, doctors also recommend to use drugs-powder for those who have difficulty swallowing tablets or capsules, such as pediatric patients and elderly patients. To get drugs-powder sometimes patients have to wait a long time because manually dosing. Even now, the drugs-powder also decreased quality because the dosing problems such as accuracy, efficiency, and human errors. Automatic drug dosing system is an idea that is expected to help the problems. The system will automatically divide the drugs-powder with the help of computers, controllers, and mechanical devices.

The system composed of two main parts: hardware and software. Hardware part consists of mechanical devices and electronic circuits as drivers and controllers. The software part consists of the control system such as Visual Basic and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) used to give orders to the hardware. All input commands can be done through the computer (Visual Basic) then forward it to the PLC, and PLC ordered information from the computer to be implemented by the hardware. The main component in this system is a weight sensor commonly known as load cell.

This drugs-powder dosing system was successfully created. All hardware systems can work well. The system can measure according to the input entered with gram precision scale.
