PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN STATISTIKA KONSTRUKTIVIS TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN KARAKTER MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN FISIKA

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to know whether constructivist statistics teaching-learning method increases students understanding and improve students characters. The main questions are: (1) does students understanding about statistics increase; (2) do studentss characters improve; and (3) which characters are developed according to students. The sample of the research is 52 students from Physics Education Study Program. Constructivist statistics teaching-learning is used as treatment. Pretest and posttest are used to know the improvement of students knowledge, and questionairs are used to know the level of students characters. The results is: (1) students understanding is improved; (2) students charaters are high; and characters that are improved are collaboration among students, carefulness, and honesty.
