Pewahyuan Allah dalam Perspektif Dei Verbum dan Kitab Suci

Abstract

The Catholic Church has much understanding of the sources of their faith in God. One of them is revelation, it was believed that come  from God Himself. It contains communication between God and human. The understanding of revelation as a means of communicating the presence of God and all his righteousness aims to enable human to have faith in Him. The process of responding to God's revelation is called the process by which human has faith. Therefore, faith and revelation are inseparable from each other. Revelation makes people believe in God and faith makes people able to accept God in their lives. Revelation that is peculiar to the Catholic Church is very different from revelations according to common and other religious views. These revelations are delivered through Scripture, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament, each of which has the same emphasis on revelation in different ways. Today one of the tasks of the Church is to participate in continuing God's revelation in daily life in various ways, certainly in today's all-digital world. Revelation in this digital world is often referred to as digital revelation.  God's revelation remains present in every age through His presence in the Church, which makes more and more people believe in Him.

Abstrak

Gereja Katolik memiliki pemahaman yang mendalam tentang sumber-sumber iman mereka kepada Allah. Salah satunya adalah wahyu, yang diyakini berasal langsung dari Allah sendiri. Wahyu ini mengandung komunikasi antara Allah dan manusia. Pemahaman tentang wahyu sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan kehadiran Allah dan segala keadilan-Nya bertujuan untuk memampukan manusia memiliki iman kepada-Nya. Proses merespons wahyu Allah disebut sebagai proses di mana manusia memperoleh iman. Oleh karena itu, iman dan wahyu tidak dapat dipisahkan satu sama lain. Wahyu membuat orang percaya kepada Allah, dan iman membuat orang mampu menerima Allah dalam hidup mereka. Wahyu yang khas bagi Gereja Katolik sangat berbeda dengan wahyu menurut pandangan umum dan agama lain. Wahyu-wahyu ini disampaikan melalui Kitab Suci, baik dalam Perjanjian Lama maupun Perjanjian Baru, masing-masing dengan penekanan yang sama pada wahyu namun dengan cara yang berbeda. Hari ini, salah satu tugas Gereja adalah berpartisipasi dalam melanjutkan wahyu Allah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan berbagai cara, terutama di dunia digital saat ini. Wahyu dalam dunia digital ini sering disebut sebagai wahyu digital. Wahyu Allah tetap hadir di setiap zaman melalui kehadiran-Nya dalam Gereja, yang membuat semakin banyak orang percaya kepada-Nya.
